Kano Governor, Ogun Lawmaker Praise President Tinubu on 74th Birthday

Prominent political figures have extended warm felicitations to Bola Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, commending his leadership and contributions to national development.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin‑Tofa, described Tinubu’s birthday as “an opportunity to celebrate his leadership, commitment, and dedication to the service of the nation.”

Yusuf praised the President’s efforts to strengthen national unity, promote socio‑economic stability, and inspire confidence across the country under the Renewed Hope Agenda, while reaffirming Kano State’s continued support for the Federal Government’s policies.

He also prayed for the President’s good health, wisdom, and continued strength to lead Nigeria effectively.

In a separate message, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, representing Yewa North/Imeko‑Afon Federal Constituency, described President Tinubu as a “colossus of Nigerian democracy” and commended his style of leadership and reform agenda.

“On this momentous and auspicious occasion of the 74th birthday of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, I stand with Nigerians at home and in the diaspora… to honour a colossus of our democratic tradition,” Isiaka said in a statement personally signed on Sunday.

The lawmaker highlighted Tinubu’s tenure as having begun at a critical period in Nigeria’s history, noting that bold policy interventions under his leadership have aimed at restoring confidence in governance and promoting national progress.

He also traced Tinubu’s political journey from his role in the pro‑democracy struggle to his time as governor of Lagos State and his current position as President, describing him as a leader committed to institution‑building and mentorship.

Isiaka concluded by praying for renewed strength and clarity of vision for Tinubu as he continues the “task of national renewal,” while congratulating the President on behalf of his constituents.
